Prize Book

Membership is $5.00 per person.
All entry forms for exhibits in the hall must be submitted to the secretary on or before five (5) days prior to the fair.
No exhibitor may submit more than one entry in any class, except for livestock and poultry.
The decision of the judges shall be final in all cases, except when a societal rule has been violated.
Rule interpretation will be at the discretion of three (3) directors.
Membership cards allow entry to the fair on Labour Day Monday only.
From the sum or sums awarded to any member as a prize or premium, it shall be lawful and the duty of the secretary/treasurer to retain $5.00 as the membership fee for the ensuing year.
Any person entering an article or animal contrary to the rules of the society shall forfeit any prize they may otherwise be entitled to.

The society will be responsible for the payment of prize money only to the extent that the society's revenues permit.
A protest must be in writing and in the hands of the secretary within 24 hours after the fair. It must plainly state the cause of the complaint or appeal and must be accompanied by a $5.00 deposit. The deposit will be forfeited to the society if the protest is not sustained.
Prize money will be presented on awards night. If you are unable to attend Awards Night and your winnings are over $20.00, they will be mailed to you. For persons with winnings lower than $20.00, you will be informed of an alternate place to pick up your winnings. All winnings must be picked up by December 31 of the current year. If they are not picked up, the money will be relinquished to the Armour, Ryerson & Burk’s Falls Agricultural Society.

Hall Class Rules and Regulations

All exhibits must be delivered to the hall between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The doors will close promptly at 11:00 a.m.
Entries must be properly tagged and ready.
Only one entry is allowed per section.
Each entry must be the work of the exhibitor.
No article may be displayed for more than two (2) years.
Exhibitors are not permitted to enter the hall to place their exhibits. Instead, they should hand in their exhibits at the door with all entry tags correctly attached. An attendant appointed by the directors will be responsible for placing exhibits.

Manufactured articles must be the property of the exhibitor.
Any article or exhibit in the hall competing for a special prize is not eligible for a society prize.
A director has the authority to discard old or soiled work.
The directors will take every reasonable precaution to ensure the safety of articles sent to the exhibition. However, exhibitors must bear the risk of exhibiting them. In case of accidental damage or loss, the directors will provide assistance in recovering the article. It is understood that no payment will be made for any injured, damaged, or lost articles.
Entries may not be removed until 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
